The US and Neocolonialims

The Oxford Dictionary defines Neocolonialism as,  'the use of economic, political, cultural, or other pressures to control or influence another country; esp. the retention of such influence over a developing country by a former colonial power'.  United States is supposed to be an vital Neocolonialist institution as her influence in international and national are widely discussed( and mostly criticized)  in different forums and strata. Adding up to the discussions, the MNCs ( Multinational Companies)  are believed to be another force exhibiting influence same as colonial powers. Often times, US war at the Middle East and Gulf countries are compared as a war to exert Oil dominance (image of oil thirsty US ).
